Just Cruisin' . . . Tim Update.

Tim has settled in to life aboard Liberty of the Seas wonderfully!

He is playing two Broadway shows each night and other

musical entertainment during the week long cruise.

Bonuses:

*Visiting beautiful ports of call including the Bahamas,

Jamaica, Balize, Cozumel, Haiti, Costa Maya,

St. Maarten, Puerto Rico and many other beautiful

places.

*Great food!

*Lots of playing the guitar!

Visiting California would not be the same without a stop at

Any good mom fills up her son before taking him

back to the college dorm!

The ONLY sad part of this trip was taking Zach back

to Biola!!! We are going to miss him soo much!!!

How the Grinch Stole CHRISTmas!

Hooray for Hollywood!!!

Diane and I had to make a fun trip out of taking Zach

back to Biola!!! Hollywood!!!!!

We saw "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" at the

bea-u-tiful Pantages Theater in Hollywood!!!

The play was absolutely adorable, fun, wonderful . . .

just the thing to put ANYONE in the CHRISTmas spirit!!!

We had so much fun looking at all of the sights in Hollywood!!!

Stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

We saw so many different types of people walking

along the streets!

It was so fun seeing everyone bundled up in the CHRISTmas spirit!

We were stuck in traffic ALL day getting from Las Vegas

to Hollywood. We arrived in Hollywood on empty and actually

had TWO MINUTES when we walked up to the ticket counter

to get our tickets!!! Whew!!!

We truly did not think that we were going to make it

to the gas station . . . I guess Zach would have earned

his keep!!!

We had been driving all day without food or gas . . .

We stopped at an adorable restaurant that was built

in 1948!!

Yummy, yummy, homemade pies . . . I had blueberry!!!

Good.times.

THANKSgiving Fun!

Family, great friends, good food . . . THANKSgiving just

does not get any better!!!

Tony and Annette are such good friends!!!

We cannot wait to be their neighbors in Hidden Springs, Idaho!!!!

The only bad thing was that we just did not have enough food!?!

Grampa had a wonderful time at the THANKSgiving spread!!!

A holiday just would not be a holiday without our Grandy!!!!

I have been blessed beyond measure and

have so many blessings . . . I cannot even begin to count them.

I am so thankful for my wonderful family and for the

constant support that they give me . . . unconditionally

and no matter what!!!

I am excited to share a wonderful THANKSgiving dinner

with family and friends.

I am excited to watch "The Wizard of Oz" after all

is said and done . . . That is our family tradition!!!

It's Beginning to Look Like . . . THANKSgiving!

What an awesome day to bake and reflect on my

many, many blessings!

As I gathered up the recipes and materials for the BIG cooking day,

I really began to miss Gram!

As long as I can remember, I went over to Gram's house

and helped her stuff the bird, bake pies, rolls, and make

salads, and other side dishes.

This THANKSgiving sure does seem a little different now

that Gram is in Heaven.

I am so thankful for all of my many, many blessings!

Family and friends, of course, are the BIGGEST and BESTEST blessings

e.v.e.r.!

CHRISTmas Flick.

Ready or not . . . this movie will definitely

get you into the CHRISTmas spirit.

You have to see it with family and good friends!!

We had sooo much fun with our good friends from

Idaho!!! We love the Town Square movie theater!!

After your belly is full of turkey, mashed potatoes, and

cranberries, go and see this flick!!!

Calzones!

Acquiring my BOSCH will perhaps add a few inches to

our waistlines.

Tonight, it was YUMMY calzones for dinner!!!

We were creative and added many ingredients to them

such as sausage, pepperoni, mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.

Everyone was drooling when I added the

spices directly to the dough mixture.

The hardest part was waiting 20 minutes for the dough

to rise!! We made four of these and they were huge.

I was excited that I had my own veggie calzone with onions,

asparagus, broccoli, olives, and mushrooms.

Yummy and fun!!!

Happy THANKSgiving to All!

'Twas the night of THANKSgiving,

But I just couldn't sleep.

I tired counting backwards,

I tried counting sheep.

The leftovers beckoned -

The dark meat and white,

But I fought the temptation

With all of my might.

Tossing and turning with anticipation,

The thought of a snack became infatuation.

So, I raced to the kitchen, flug open the door,

And gazed at the fridge, full of goodies galore.

Gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes,

Pickles and carrots, beans and tomatoes.

I felt myself swelling so plump and so round,

'Til all of a sudden, I rose off of the ground

I crashed through the ceiling, floating into the sky,

With a mouthful of pudding and a handful of pie.

But, I managed to yell as I soared past the trees . . .

"Happy Eating to all - pass the cranberries, please.

May your stuffing be tasty.

May your turkey be plump.

May your potatoes and gravy have nary a lump.

May your yams be delicious.

May your pies take the prize,

May your THANKSgiving dinner stay off of your thighs!!

She's Here!!!

My UPS man and I have this relationship! You see, whenever we have

a package delivery, which is a lot living here, our UPS man delivers

right on the spot . . . about 2:30p.m. or 2:45p.m.

I know, we are spoiled.

Yesterday, I waited and waited and waited for my special

delivery . . . my new BOSCH.

2:30p.m. came and went. 2:45p.m. came and went.

4:00p.m. came and went. 6:30p.m. came and went.

I was coming to the reality that my BOSCH was not coming.

HOWEVER, Sam had a sleepover at a friend's house.

I took him to his friend's house at 8:00p.m.

I had come to the conclusion that there would be no BOSCH

in my future today.

When I got home from taking Sam at 8:45p.m., I was busily

doing my usual "stuff" around the house.

I glanced over at the counter and . . . and . . . and there was my BOSCH

sitting right on the counter?!?

Mike and Luke said it could not have happened more perfectly.

As soon as I turned the corner, the UPS man came around the corner!!

Mike and Luke hurried and opened all the boxes and put the BOSCH on the counter.

They acted like business as usual when I came in the door and waited for me to

notice the BOSCH on the counter!!!!!!

By the time I was done reading all of the directions, it was almost 10:00p.m.

Well, of course, I HAD to bake something . . .

So, my assistant Luke and I made two batches of cinnamon rolls, clover rolls, and

bread bowls for our dinner tonight!!!!

One.lucky.girl.
