Playhouse for Grandkids.

Designing our new home
is so much fun!! One essential
element is an indoor playhouse
for the *grandkids*!!
This playhouse happens
to be an outdoor playhouse,
but it is so dreamy.
*This one is my favorite!*
Someone is very creative to
be able to build this awesome
playhouse!!

Luke Joins Reno Troop 245!

Today was Luke's first meeting
with Troop 245 sponsored by
Grace Church Reno!!
Having two brothers who are
Eagle Scouts, Luke has big
shoes to fill!!
Continuing with the "Get to Know
Reno Spirit" . . .
We went to one of my very favorite
places on Earth . . . THE BOY SCOUT
COUNCIL STORE!!!!!
Luke is now part of the Nevada
Area Council.
We are so excited to continue our
scouting journey here in Reno.
Luke's new troop participates in
tons of camping and outdoor activities.
Troop 245's official neckerchief.
Love.love.love the Boy Scout store.
. . . counting the days until we celebrate
our next Eagle Scout!!

Reno Find of the Day . . .

If you have not shopped at Winco, you
really have not lived!!! Sam, Luke,
and I had so much fun going up and
down the aisles. Winco is a cross
between Wal-Mart and Costco.

The "bins" are what make Winco
so much fun. Pasta, wheat,
flour, candy of all types, chips,
and millions of snacks are
stored in the bins. Using the
big scoop, you scoop the items
from the bins into plastic bags . . .
It is pretty difficult not to
snack just a little bit while
transporting items from the
bins to the bags . . .

Winco: part of our find out
about Reno tour!!

90th Annual Candy Dance in Genoa, Nevada.

To get this . . .
Oh, yeah . . .
My mom and I had to walk uphill . . .
2.7 miles . . .
passing this . . .
and this . . .
yep . . . the parking lot was full . . .
and the road was closed . . .

But we hoofed it up the hill
to the 90th annual Candy Dance
Harvest Festival held in Genoa,
Nevada about 60 miles from
Reno.
We had so much fun!!!
Cathy, Diane, and Betsy were
also there!! Too much girl
fun for one day!!!!!

Next to Last Night.

Considering we have not been to
Seemore's Ice Cream all summer,
it only seemed fitting to get a

Sam's Good-Bye Pool Party!

Sam celebrated good-bye with a few
of his good friends today with a
farewell swimming party.
I must say, Sam has chosen some
really great friends!
Chicken fights were great . . .
But the biggest hit of the entire
party was the wheelchair races
out on the driveway . . .

Go figure, a $$$$ pool in the
backyard and these guys would
rather play with wheelchairs!!

On the Way to Reno . . .

Today we:
1. Loaded EVERYTHING from our
house into trucks and trailers.
2. Went to the dump . . . twice.
3. Vacuumed the front and back
porches.
4. Revarnished two pantries.
5. Vacuumed Grampa's apartment,
upstairs, downstairs . . . every
nook and cranny.
6. Went to Wal-Mart.
7. Went to Subway.
8. Ate a ton of Smartfood.
9. Went to Star Nursery.
10. Got a HUGE truck stuck
in our beautiful grass in the
backyard . . . technically,
is it still OUR grass?
11. Washed bedding, including
comforters.
12. Vacuumed out EVERY single
drawer and cabinet.
13. Cleaned every single
drawer and cabinet.
14. Loaded more stuff for
tomorrow's load to the dump.
