Encouragement.

Our mailbox is on the very top of all of the
mailboxes at the end of our cul-de-sac.
It is so fun to stand on my tiptiptippytoes
to see encouragement brimming from the
mailbox.  Years ago, our Christian radio
station had a ministry that would provide
an name and address for listeners to send
encouraging cards and letters.  I wish I
did not speak from experience, but I do ...
these tidbits of encouragement can literally
change the entire day.  Our family does not
take it lightly those who take precious time
from their busy schedules to write us an
encouraging word and send it on its' way.
In turn, it also gives our family a chance
to pray for those who encourage us.

My support team . . . COULD NOT
make it without them!!!!!

Encouragement.

 Truthfully, I.do.not.know. just where we
would be without our fantabulous family
and friends . . .
 . . . our cheerleaders . . .
 . . . our support team . . .
Seriously, our home is filled, filled, filled
with cards and notes of encouragement
from so many of our most treasured
people.
 God certainly surrounded us with
a.m.a.z.i.n.g people and we are
so grateful!!!!
We all knock each other down to
go to the mailbox.  I think that our
mailman may be a wee bit jealous!!!

Love, love, love you all so very
much!!  You will NEVER know
how much your kindness towards
our family has meant!!!

This scripture melts my heart and
certainly holds true in this case:
"For I was hungry and you gave me
something to eat, I was thirsty and
you gave me something to drink, I was
a stranger and you invited me in, I
needed clothes and you clothed me, I
was sick and you looked after me, I was
in prison and you came to visit me. . . .
The King will reply, I tell you the
truth, whatever you did for one
of the least of these brothers of mine,
you did for me."

Words of Encouragement.

Encouragement has taken on a WHOLE new
meaning for me over the past year.  I cannot
tell you how much it lift my spirits to
receive a simple text or phone call during
the day.  It is AMAZING to realize all of
the people who are interceding on behalf
of our family.

Today was no exception.  I received texts
an emails with the exciting news that
friends and family members were praying
for our Dad during this trial.  A sentence
from a friend goes a LOOOOOONG way.
It is so incredibly wonderful to know that
we are not in this storm alone.
As if a text is not enough . . . it is incredible
to scamper out to the mailbox and have an
uplifting card in the mail from a besty.  We
are incredibly blessed to have such wonderful
people in our corner.  We know that each
of them has been chosen by God to be
with us as prayer warriors and supporters
during our trial.

The BIG day is August 31.  Mike has
a PET/CT scan on that day.  We will
receive the results after Labor Day weekend.
The results will determine whether or
not we will be eligible to continue with
the clinical trial.
