Yep, my main squeeze is having some
difficult issues! He has been having the
highest blood pressure for quite sometime.
Upon moving to Reno, we have located the
most WONDERFUL docs on the planet.
They thought that the high blood pressure
might have something to do with his
kidneys. Well, close! There is a large
tumor on his adrenal gland, which is
usually a laparoscopic procedure.
However, my darling's growth is quite
a large tumor and is resting on a main
artery. Hence, he will have to have
a major cut job to have it removed.
Upon finding the tumor on the adrenal gland,
our wise docs had him have a CT scan.
The results of the CT scan showed two
growths on the pancreas. God pointed us
in the right direction to marvelous
surgeons. The surgeon looked at the films
and immediately sent him to a terrific
Gastro doc (who drew this marvelous
pics just the morning). He has pretty
much determined that the larger growth
on the pancreas is, in fact, cancer. Once
again, God is merciful! It is not the horrible
kind of cancer.
Tuesday they will be going in to look at
the growths on the pancreas and take
biopsies. After the biopsies, our marvelous
docs will decide when the surgery will be
to remove both the tumor on the
adrenal gland and the growths on the
pancreas. Wow!
All of this, of course, is coupled with
my final residency in Jacksonville,
school starting, finishing the new digs,
Sam getting his driver's license,
Halloween costume prep . . .
We are so thankful that we have
awesome docs who are taking more
than terrific care of him. We know that
he will have a pretty major ordeal and
we are ready to support him and help
him heal. God's timing is ALWAYS
perfect. We are waiting for our
next instructions and when the
big day will be . . .
