Part of the glamorous job of building
a brand new home is the reality that
there is much WASTE generated by
all of the workers that are hired to
perform jobs around the new place.
Of course, everyone just cuts wood,
paper, wire, and foam and drops it
on the ground . . .
Well, SOMEONE has to pick all
of that stuff up . . . that was our
mission today. After the usual Friday
breakfast with Grampa, Mike, the
boys, and I headed out to the new digs,
prepared to work our little hearts out.
That we did, we picked up 30 huge
contractors bags of trash, filled up the
back of Mike's truck and Grampa's truck.
Then we headed to the lovely Reno dump,
where they CHARGE you to dump your
stuff . . . So, we made our $40 donation to
dump our junk and hit the bricks.
We are getting there and are
getting pretty excited!!!!
