Today was the Family Golf Tourney at Somersett!
The guys put their best foot forward!!
(Especially Luke . . . a size 12!!!)
One of our very favorite things about the
Somersett is the yummy, hot and spicy
trail mix!!
I totally COULD NOT believe that Sam was
golfing only 9 days after his hernia surgery.
I was a little apprehensive the entire time,
but he did great. It was a scramble and he
did not have to drive the ball the entire
tournament.
We can see our new home all around the
back nine . . . It is peeking up over the hill!
Luke was absolutely on fire today . . . driving,
pitching, and sinking putts like a madman.
This is one of my very favorite holes! I love
the brooke and the running water . . .
The guys finished EVEN par . . . two strokes away
from first. Sam won closest to the pin on
hole #15. It was a totally fun family day out
on the links!! One of the things on my to do list
when I finish my PhD is to pick up my
golf clubs and start playing with the guys.
