Whew! Within exactly one week of
moving to Reno, we celebrated in
true Tietjen style two of our
very, very favorite family member's
birthdays!!
Mike and Zach each blow out candles
to celebrate the big '52' and '21'.
Yep, we found Wing Stop the moment
we moved here . . . nothing like 75
chicken wings for a houseful of
healthy birthday party attenders.
For years, I have heard people talk about
how red velvet cake is so yummy and
amazing. I decided to bake one from
scratch last night . . . All of the hype
was an understatement . . . butter makes
everything taste truly scrumptious and
red velvet cake is NO exception.

I consider myself the luckiest girl
on the planet . . . I have celebrated
32 of Mike's birthday's with him.

the gift giving for the birthday
boys . . . those and ca$h!!!
Grampa is an old hand at celebrating
birthdays and loves to celebrate
with his family!!!
