Holiday Festival of Lights.

Fun times as we ALL piled into the
car and drove to Hidden Valley
Country Club's Festival of Lights.
The homes are older ranch style
homes and many of them go
to great lengths to put on a
wonderful CHRISTmas light display.
We laughed and joked and had SO MUCH
fun cramped in the back seat of
Grampa's truck!
The trees are old and tall and many
of the homes had lights all the
way up in trees that are over
fifty feet tall.
Tonight was the competition, so all
of the homes pulled out the stops.
We were excited to see lots of
Nativity scenes.
Santa and Mrs. Claus were on
display EVERYWHERE!
We sure missed Tim, we could
have crammed him in also.
Looking at lights is one of my
very favorite CHRISTmas memories
even as a little girl.
In fact, some of our very favorite
homes had the big lights from
when I was little.
We were so glad to find this home
that boldly proclaimed that
"Jesus is Lord". The roof had a
large cross on it as well.
We were laughing the entire night saying
that we were looking for "the glow". Zach
thought that we said we were looking for
"the globe". Yep, there was a globe alright!
Many of us love the homes with
just the plain white lights.

CHRISTmas memories. That is what
it is ALL about. We love, love, love
making CHRISTmas memories.
