Field Trip to Nevada's Capitol Building.

Like every great teacher, I planned a
field trip today!! It was a gorgeous day
so we headed to Carson City to take
a tour of the capitol building.
The building was beautiful and the
grounds were so pretty to walk
around.
We loved looking in all of the rooms.
This is the Nevada Supreme Court Room.
Luke was Grampa's chauffer for the
afternoon. He does such a wonderful
job taking care of others. I am so
proud of him.
There were some interesting facts
that we did not know. For example,
Nevada had a "Silver Party" in the
early 1900s. Two of our governors
were elected from this party.
I am thankful that the boys still
enjoy going on little field trips with
me and will take it in stride all of
the plans that I have for them during
the day. I will certainly miss these
days of homeschooling!!!!!
We thought that the capitol building
was beautiful and were excited to
watch them decorate for CHRISTmas.
Nevada really does have a rich
history and we have had fun
studying about our state over the years.

Well, another homeschool memory.
I am so thankful that I have had this
awesome opportunity with our boys!
