Today, Reno had a one-day storm that blew
in with 50-60 mile an hour winds, rained,
hailed, and snowed like crazy. Our family
faced a similar storm this morning as we
were presented with the results of Mike's
PET scan from last week. His adrenal gland
cancer has spread to the lungs, muscle above
the groin area, and a large tumor in his
back right ribcage. We KNOW that God
truly knows what is best and we will NOT
doubt that for one single minute. We will
pray our way through this trial and will honor
God's ultimate decision. While we are dismayed
and in shock, we continue to rejoice in the fact
that God has a PLAN for each and every one of
us. We are so incredibly blessed with an
amazing family and friends. We are so grateful
and thankful for their kindness and support.
The prognosis at this point is 12 months and
possibly 18 months with extremely aggressive
chemotherapy treatments. Our family will
continue to seek God and pray for wise decisions
over the next several days and weeks.

Hi Jill, I have sneaked a peek at your life for the last several months maybe even the last year on your blog. I have watched for updates on Mike. I want you to know that I am praying for your family to have strength in this storm. Many blessings to you!
