Not only is the Bible my all time very favorite book, but
Gram's Bible is at the top of my list.
I take it to church with me every Sunday.
It never fails that I look at her signature in the book and
run my hand across it.
I absolutely love the way that the pages are worn and thin.
Another endearment is that the book has separated from the binding.
The fact that this Bible it tattered and torn demonstrates the fact that this book
was a most important element in her life, which stood for Christ.
I treasure the way that Gram underlined verses that were important to her.
One of the many verses that Gram highlighted in her Bible was
Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves,
it is the gift of God; not as result of works, that no one should boast."
Speaking to my heart, my life verse is also underlined in Gram's Bible,
Romans 8:28 "An we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who
love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."
