Westergard Internship.

Although I have grumbled, whined, and complained

my way through my internship, I

really, really have learned so much

about becoming a school leader from

Mr. Chronister. He is an amazing principal

and has taught me so much. I know that I will

be a wonderful principal and change the lives

of many students, teachers, and families

because of my administrative internship

experience.

While this experience has been a total

stretch for my family and myself, we have

all learned so much about working together

to "make it work". I cannot believe that my

internship is coming to an end next week.

I am so grateful for dedicated educators

like Mr. Chronister, and I pray that I can

become a totally gifted administrator

like him. He is retiring at the end of next

week and his dedication to education shows

that he was willing to share his love of

education and learning with others

right to the very end.

The Letter.

For playing on the varsity golf team,

Sam received his McQueen letter today.

I just love it and cannot wait to

frame with with the letter he received

from PVHS last year for playing on the

varsity golf team as a freshman!

Sam is an amazing golfer and has

so much fun playing on the high school

golf team. It was not easy this year,

those guys fought the weather the ENTIRE

season. They played in wind, rain,

sleet, hail, snow, and ice. You name

it, they played in it!!

Congrats on a well-played season.

Junior Golf Tourney.

My Luke had a junior golf tournament

at Somersett today. It was a

beautiful 90* day out and I was

thrilled to have the opportunity to

drive and monitor a group of

golfers.

We had so much fun . . . we love driving

under in the tunnels under the

golf course.

The kids had a blast and Luke's team

won the scramble with a 32.

The course is in awesome shape! Sam

and Luke play almost every day with

a group of their friends.

driving up a storm today . . .

. . . left handed also!?!

Awesome fun afternoon!! I am so

glad that the boys have found a

sport that they love and good

friends in our new neighborhood

to play with and have a great time!!

Sunny Skies!

Summer has arrived in Reno, Nevada and

I could.not.be.any.happier!

We are loving the housebuilding warm

weather, sunny skies, golf, shorts,

t-shirts, sundresses, flipflops,

sunglasses . . .

You name it, we are excited about it.

After tomorrow, I will only have 10 more

days of my internship and we can really

kick summer into high gear.

I will begin my final two courses in

my PhD program on July 8.

Did I mention that we love the fresh

strawberries, butter pound cake,

and homemade whip cream?!?

The Back Side.

Well, I have decided that I love the

back view just as much as the front

view!! We were excited to take Tim

on a little spin up to our new home

today!! He love, love, loved it and

is so excited to be home!! We are

having so much fun and excited that

we are going to get sheeting on our

roof this week! The electrician will be

here next week! We ordered our

beautiful new windows today!!

Are we blessed or what!!!

Yipppeeee!! My Tim is HOME!! I

cannot believe that he even let me

take this picture. He has been through

so much trying to get home from

Europe for the past 37 hours!!
