Come. Now is the Time to Worship.

Superdeduper proud of our Sam tonight
as he made his debut on the worship team.
A proud moment for sure for Mom and
Dad as our guy demonstrated his love
for the Lord and his commitment to
important things playing the keyboard
for worship.

As we walk through storms and trials,
at times it is difficult to be certain
that somehow, everything is going
to be alright.  I used to ask Grampa
all the time "Are we gonna make
it?".  He would quickly reply, "We
ALWAYS do."

Yep.we.always.do.

BFFs.

We love these two MORE than our next
breath.  They.are.amazing.  Both of them
have huge hearts, love the Lord, and make
our yokes light.  We have known them
forever and love them more and more and
more and more and more each and every
day.  It was so much fun to share a meal
with them tonight.  With all of our schedules,
it is difficult to sneak in time, but I am
thrilled that we were able to sneak in a
couple of hours tonight!!!  I can honestly
say that I do not know where we would
be without these two . . . they are.on.it!
We are grateful for their companionship
and so glad that they are our
forever friends.

Love.you.guys.

Halloweeny.

You must be on the very edge of your
seat . . . I am almost done with this puppy!
Hopefully next Tuesday I can reveal one
of the projects that I have been working
on.  Hint: It is for Halloween!!
I don't know why I love Halloween so very
much . . . but I am getting excited about
all of the fun seasons and holidays coming
up!!!

MIKE UPDATE:  We continue to pray every
day over Mike's clinical trial medication.
He is on a five days on, two days off cycle.
We are grateful that he is able to participate
in the study.  Our recent PET/CT scan
revealed that our Dad has very large
tumors that have metastasized to other
parts in his body.  God is in control and
we know that He can perform a miracle.
We still fight our blood pressure and the
reality of this whole ordeal.  We wonder
why God chose Mike, but he did.  We
are ever so grateful for our wonderful
family and friends: our support group team!
I do not know where we would be
without prayer and hope!!

A Little Celebration.

Don't knock it until you have tried it!!!
In celebration of . . . CHAPTERS 1-3
being APPROVED, I treated myself
to one of my favoritist snacks.
Sherbert, a little on the melty side,
with chocolate animal crackers!!!
I must say that it is yummy, yummy,
yummy!  It goes down even better
knowing that my IRB application
will be finished this week, in the
hands of my mentor, and then on
its way to the university . . . at which
point they will approve my application,
I can apply to our school district to
conduct research and then, drum roll,
please . . . I will be ON MY WAY!!!

Pretty darn exciting!!

Pumpkin Patch.

Pumpkins . . . Pumpkins . . . Pumpkins . . .
Yep, they are OUT!!  I was so excited to
buy our first pumpkin today!!!  I love, love,
love fall and Halloween.  I am excited
for the change of seasons and super
excited to see what God does over the
next couple of months in our lives.

Happy, happy, Sunday.

Genius?!?

Sam's computer has been slowly tanking
over the past several months.  Sam is
our resident computer whiz and Johnny
on the Spot no matter what the situation.
He makes tons of videos, takes a trillion
pictures, and is now a college dude.
So, we made a little trip to our Apple
store.  Needless to say, all of our guys
hopped into the car to tag along . . . who
doesn't love going to the Apple store?!?
We pretended to look around and be
amazed by all of the wonderness in
the A.S., however, we knew what we
wanted needed loooooooong before
arriving!!  As luck would have it,
we had a marvelous "Genius" helping
us and we were out the door . . .
