Gone Fishin'.

Luke has been counting the hours, minutes,

and seconds until today as he and Mike

have been planning to go fishing all

week long!!!

Mike has TONS and TONS and

TONS of patience and had so much

fun watching Luke fish at

Marilyn's Pond.

It was THE perfect day for fishing!!!

I seriously do not know who had more

fun, Luke actually fishing or Mike

watching him fish.

Father and son day outings:

can't beat 'em.

Yeehaw!!! Luke was so stoked!!! He caught

a fish!!!! Life.is.good.

paint! Oh, yeah!

Action.

Yep! There has been action at the

house . . . tiling, getting ready to texture,

getting ready to put the color coat on

our stucco. Today we spent hours

running here and there picking up

supplies, a soaker tub, bags of texturing

supplies, plumbing supplies . . .

Holy.cow! We are getting excited and

cannot wait until we are in, in, in!!!

Repeat Performance.

Mike and I are now considered

regulars at St. Mary's Hospital. Today

Mike had surgery to remove the stints

and stones that were put in at the

Mayo Clinic. Everything went fine today

and the docs are working hard to

determine how to best "deal with

Mike's pancreas" that must come

out before too much longer. We

are headed to the University of Michigan

Hospital in Ann Arbor on Monday.

The docs there have been in communication

with both the Mayo Clinic and the team

of physicians here in Reno. We are

thankful for such amazing physicians

who really do care about Mike and our

family. Knowing that God is the

ultimate Physician, we are looking

to Him for council and advice as we

make some pretty giant decisions

in our lives over the next several

weeks!

Sneak Peak!

Ooohlala!! We made our last

little trip over to our granite

guy's wonderland today!!!

He has so many fun and amazing

pieces of granite. The trick is to

make your choices quickly or

EVERYTHING starts blending

together and it is impossible

to make up your mind.

We are love, love, loving our

kitchen choice and are getting

even more excited to bake

pies, cookies, and cakes on

this be-a-uuuuutiful granite.

We are seriously counting

the days until we get to move

into our new home! The kids

want to move in by Thanksgiving

so badly and think that it would

be really cool to be moving on

Thanksgiving Day and be so

busy and tired that we eat

Wendy's for our Thanksgiving

dinner that night!!!

(I don't think that they

are excited to move?!?)

counting down the days until

those dental appointments

for early November!

I love holidays! Halloween

is one of my very favorites.

I cannot wait until we are in

our new home next year.

scary treats and fun

costumes.

The guys are busy, busy, busy taping

our new home. We are loving this

stage and seeing our abode coming

together and the rooms take shape.

my moose above our reclaimed

barn wood mantel!

Mike and I can hardly wait

to brush our teeth next to

each other in our new sinks!
