Last Day of School!

Congratulations to the bestest students

EVER!! These boys are amazing and I

am so glad that they are mine, mine, mine!

These guys bless me all of the time

both in and out of school!! We had

a fan-tas-tic school year this year,

even though it is really just Luke and

I grinding it out together all day long.

Zach and Sam are both on their

own college schedules and demand

little to nothing of me. I.miss.it!

We had a fun little end of the

school year party with our

favorite In-n-Out burger and

Kung Fu Panda. I just cannot do

enough for these boys . . . they are

truly amazing and I am so proud

of all of their accomplishments!!!

Thanks for an awesome school year!!

Looking forward to year 2-0 next year!!!

We cannot wait to move into our brand

new school room just in time for school

to start next year!!

Final Paper.

While I am so in the mood to work on my

latest quilt . . .

or spend my Memorial Day weekend lazily

eating watermelon . . .

I will be working the.entire.weekend. on

my final Education Law paper.

Our professor gives each student an

individual scenario, mine surrounds

a student who has been drinking that shows

up to a senior dance, the principal suspects

he has been drinking, but is not certain.

. . . the student leaves the dance and ends

up crashing his car into a tree and is killed.

Is the administrator negligent?

Well, if you REALLY want to know, you

will be able to read my bazillion page

paper on this very situation.

Waiting for the Locusts.

Seriously!?! It was 32* outside today and

snowing like CHRISTmas.

Didn't God get the memo that we are

building a new house and need some

house-building weather!

My goodness! The flakes were huge and

were sticking everywhere!! We couldn't

believe it!!! There was a 30* drop in

temperature in a little less than an

hour . . . I guess I will put my bikini

away for a little while!

Trusses . . .

Why are these trusses all over the

ground you say . . .

rather than up on top of the house

where they belong . . .

Many of them were MADE WRONG!

Don't worry! Thanks the quick thinking

of Mike and our handy-dandy on-the-spot

contractor, all is well!!

We will be flying trusses by Thursday!!!!

New Project.

With CHRISTmas breathing down my

neck . . . I must get crackin' on my

CHRISTmas presents!!! There is so

much going on, but I was so excited . . .

to begin a brand new CHRISTmas

project today!!!!

I am totally in the mood to quilt and

love, love, love my new fabric.

CHRISTmas . . . I cannot wait!

Up!

Boys cannot resist climbing . . .

even when it leads to nowhere! These

are our new stairs that will lead to our

upstairs, which will be making a big

debut this week!! It was fun and a

little scary to climb to the top of

the staircase when the top floor

was not there yet!! The views are

spectacular and I can hardly wait

to see the view from each of the new

bedrooms and my ever-anticipated

new schoolroom, study, and

GRANDKID PLAYHOUSE!!!!

Cousins.

Mike's cousin Dana and her husband

Mike were in Reno on their way home

from a wedding today. Even though we

had already had a BIG day and were

a wee bit tired, we really did have tons

of fun!! As usual, Luke started off the

night with the in-the-car entertainment

on the way to meet Mike and Dana.

We ate at Somersett CC and the boys

hooked up with one of their friends

and played a couple of holes while

we were waiting to eat.

Mike and Dana are so nice! We really had

tons of fun with them and are so thankful

that they stopped by on their way back

to Oregon. We are already making

plans to go to their home this summer.

Fun, fun times . . .
